About the game

Survive the run. Keep the loot.

Grimfall is an action roguelike in the survivors style: one hunter, a rising tide of the drowned, weapons that fire on their own and a level-up every few seconds. Runs are ten minutes. Then the fen keeps what it kills.

What sets it apart is what you take home. Every run drops gear with rarities, rolled affixes and legendary powers that change how a weapon works, not just how hard it hits. Gear persists in a stash between runs. Equip it, reroll it at the Forge, build around it, and go back in deeper.

Builds you can feel

Five weapons that evolve into stronger forms when paired with the right passive. Legendary powers that add a bolt, chain a nova off corpses, or pierce a second target. The difference between a good run and a great one is a decision, not a dice roll.

A fen that gets worse

Acts with their own rosters and bosses: Korrag the Fenlord, who charges and slams, and Velmara the Sunken Queen, who summons leeches and fills the field with globs. Four difficulties from Normal to Abyssal, each with its own surge rings and spawn pressure. Auto-pilot builds do not survive the higher tiers; we made sure of it.

Where it stands

Playable and being tuned. Two acts, nine enemy types, elites, treasure chests, weapon evolutions, a Forge, and a save you can carry between sessions. Character roster, more acts and the Steam build are next.
